La sonorisation émet un grésillement si fort qu’il couvre, la moitié du temps, le son des instruments. The food was freshly prepared and nicely presented, with the little extra's between courses - compliments of the chef. Cleanliness of the bathroom not quite up to standard I would expect for the price paid. Final word of warning, we stayed here with some friends, they stayed in the annexe. Breakfast was very nice,although small, and it would of been nice to have. Not the best inn we have stayed in on this trip but much better than a couple of others). Very Good Trip Whilst it was cold the room was nice and warm, however when you open the curtains you get a draft from the windows but you have to expect this from an old building. Dinner in the restaurant was superb. We were not disappointed!I never write reviews but after reading the hotel inspector from the Daily Mail had given the Feathers a poor review I was gob smacked!We stayed between xmas and new year for one night, previously we had stayed in summer and had a fantastic big room with a large bath and comfy chairs, etc.. this time we booked with the offer of a "free upgrade if available", unfortunately it wasnt as they were pretty busy and we got a small room with very low doorways up lots of stairs, with a long galley style bathroom.
